Tanisha Bhaisare
Hi, I am Tanisha Bhaisare, the co-founder of Project Bellatrix, a non-profit organization with the communal goal of creating a safe place for women to share their experiences and providing relief and awareness on the topic of domestic violence. I am passionate about Project Bellatrix's mission and hope to be the change I want to see in society. Our primary motivation for this organization sparked from the experiences of our peers and other individuals regarding domestic abuse. We realized that women require a protected community where they can be open and connected, which influenced the initiation of Project Bellatrix.
Since the age of seven, I have been a competitive Bollywood fusion dancer. As I progressed through my passion over the years, I acquired various styles and continued exploring new workshops with different instructors each time. Currently, I am on a professional dance team for my dance academy, allowing me to travel and network with other dancers and artists. In addition to dancing, I also tutor at AE2 Learning. At AE2, I can hone my critical thinking skills daily. This experience has taught me how to approach problem-solving with students effectively and explain complex concepts in a way that is easily understandable for others. Moreover, golf has been a passion of mine since my first year of high school. I had the opportunity to join my school's team and have been playing ever since. Playing golf assists me in developing patience, focus, and teaches me the importance of regulations and etiquette.
Furthermore, I am also an EMT, and I find it incredibly rewarding to be able to help those in need during emergencies. My role aligns perfectly with my mission of creating a safer community, especially for women. In emergency medical situations, women can be particularly vulnerable, and having skilled and compassionate medical responders can make a significant difference in their well-being. My experience as an EMT has also given me valuable insights into the healthcare system and the specific challenges that women may face when seeking medical assistance. This firsthand knowledge allows me to advocate for improvements in emergency medical services that can better cater to the needs of women, ultimately contributing to a safer and more supportive healthcare environment for all.
